Welcome to JCIS Nouméa, New Caledonia's only private international multilingual school!
When I founded JCIS in 2007, my vision was to create an educational environment that prepares children to become active, responsible global citizens. As a proud New Caledonian deeply invested in the future of our country, I developed the unique pedagogical concept of the “Alternative Teaching School Community.” Over the years, JCIS has grown and evolved, always striving to provide the very best for our students and their families.
At JCIS, we celebrate the rich diversity of our students and staff, who come from different cultural and academic backgrounds around the world. This multicultural environment enriches the learning experience, fostering open-mindedness, respect, and global understanding.
In today’s fast-changing world, education must go beyond academics. Our mission is to equip our students with the skills and adaptability they need to thrive in an ever-evolving society. We promote project-based, hands-on learning that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and meaningful cross-cultural connections. Our small class sizes ensure personalized attention, allowing each child to receive the support and guidance they need to flourish.
