At all times—both inside and outside the school—students wear the official James Cook International School uniform. From preschool to high school, the uniform differs depending on whether the student is in primary or secondary. It is essential that the uniform is worn correctly and kept in good condition.
The school is divided into four Houses: Puma, Eagle, Tiger, and Phoenix. Upon joining the school, each student is assigned to one of these Houses and remains a member throughout their schooling. Each teacher is also affiliated with a House. .
On special occasions, the primary and high school students come together to take part in shared activities. These moments strengthen the bonds between the two schools, uniting them under one community.
The James Cook community regularly organises school-wide events such as the School Fair, Movie Nights, the Athletic Carnival, the Science Fair, and internal competitions. These events thrive thanks to the support and involvement of our families.
Each year, the school also takes part in both local and international events—valuable opportunities that reflect the strong collaboration between families and staff..
To keep families informed of key moments, each school has its own Facebook page, and the Middle and High School also maintain an Instagram account. Families are encouraged to follow our pages and support our initiatives
